ZOUK [築] in Chinese language means “building”. Zouk Architects is a boutique architectural practice based in Sydney Australia, established in 2002. The practice specializes in luxury residential projects as well as commercial and retail design and documentation. We are a design based practice that emphasizes on personalize approach to every project whilst maximizing site potential.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Zouk architects value simplicity in space planning and are inspired by lines, planes, open spaces and geometry and how these elements create powerful and functional architecture that response to its immediate surrounding and client’s brief without unmeaning ornamentations. Our design philosophy is to create a space that allows its occupants and their individual lifestyle to contribute to its overall characteristics. We also believe that cultural fusion in architecture brings new atmosphere to building design thus we draw our inspiration from many cultures especially from oriental traditional architecture and culture where concepts of balance, its respect to nature and symbolism contribute positively to contemporary architecture.
